Isn't she just the cutest thing? I had forgotten that I even had her until a few months ago, we were cleaning out our old bedrooms at my parents house and I found my baby! I took her home, cleaned her up, washed her clothes, and now I have her on display.
The only sad thing about it is, I don't have the box or her adoption papers, so I don't know/remember what her name was. I do remember it was something that didn't really go together (her first and middle name) but I loved her anyway.
Now the funny thing is, if I remember correctly, most parents tried to get dolls that resembled their child as closely as possible. My sisters doll had blonde hair and blue eyes. Mine, well she looked like me not so much!! Red hair and green eyes were the furthest from how I looked....with my dark brown hair and brown eyes. I didn't seem to mind, and I still don't. She is one of the very few 'toys' that I still have from my childhood.

Wow. The only toy I had left was a metal doll house. I found it in the garage loft and gave it to a woman with an antique store who thought, MAYBE, it was OK..........She's got in on DISPLAY and won't part with it.
I'd always wanted a cabbage patch doll but never got one ... yes, yes, woe is me. Maybe I'll just have to get Miss M one and live vicariously through her.
Your cabbage patch doll is beautiful :)
I love her!! I still have all my cabbage patch dolls as well!!
How cute! I never had one {sniff}...I love to live vicariously through other people...
I had one just like this, except her hair was brown. Her name was Gabrielle. I loved her. Thanks for taking me down memory lane!
WOW! I bet that's worth some money. I don't know what happened to mine. I had one named Susie Q and another named Allison. :)
