No definite news yet on old Gus! This is torture, but hey at least we have all this technology to keep us updated on any news out there.
Sometimes that can be depressing, because now TS Hanna is right behind Gus. Yep, he's got a woman on his tail. Not only that, but she's got two more tagging along on her butt too! What a September we are going to have....

Cool!! Can you believe we used to love all these "hair bands". My 20 yr old daughter loves Bret Michaels, so I took her on a youtube tour of his 80s days. It was hilarious!! She was like--um... what is that???????? The hair, the clothes, the makeup...it was too much for her.
Hope you are getting prepared. I went to Lake Charles today to get said daughter from McNeese. We are running out of gas and water already up here just south of Alex.

Hi Amy, I don't expect that you will see this until after Gus is gone. I have been watching the news and see that the storm is headed directly to New Orleans but I am assuming you will get hit with some rain and wind wherever you are. I hope you are safe, and I am thinking and praying for you.
Oh my goodness. I am here from BATW and sending you my thoughts and prayers for safety through Gustav and the hurricane season. HOWEVER, I now know that when we hear Hurricane and feel the dread ya'll down there think it's a great excuse to PARTY! Hahaha. I'm glad to see you're keeping your sense of humor. Amy, I saw Debbie's post on BATW and just want you to know when you get this that we are thinking and praying for everyone down there. I hope that you all got safely East and North of there and found some place to stay without running out of gas! Good luck and let us know if you need anything when you are able to back home.
