That is correct my friends! I got my money back, lesson learned. The only thing is I have no way of knowing how or where this person got their hands on my debit card number.
The lady at the bank told me that you can go to a place of business (such as Target) and use your debit card and then someone can hack into their online account and retrieve all of the debit card numbers and use them however they want. Sad, but true.
I have a new debit card on the way!

YIKES! There appears to be a lot of this going around. I blogged about it this month in fact, called "Debit Theft" when Greg's account was hacked. Ughh. I'm so sorry you went through this, it's horrible to deal with!!
