I hired my sisters' husbands' brothers' daughter (got that?) to babysit for me while school is out for the holidays.
She just turned 14.
She has her own cellphone.
Her bill this month was over $600.
Note to self : Never allow daughters to have a cell phone until they have jobs of their own!!

My teenage daughters have to pay us each month for their phones. Nothing is free! The oldest has a job and Savanna does babysitting.
Our oldest didn't have a phone until she started to drive and even then we got her a pay as you go.
Oh my...thank god my ex works for a phone company so both my kids have phones but their plan is $25 for every thing unlimited...thank GOD LOL

$600! Get a new cell plan...LOL Lyric had a large phone bill-once. She didn't realize that even though it was "free time" (after 7) that roaming charges still applied. She knows now. :-)
We have a family plan with 4 lines, internet, one is a blackberry, shared minutes, unlimited texting.....so you can imagine how much my bill is. But with one in college and another in high school; it keeps us connected. So we put up with the bill.
Sounds like my cell bill last month ($675), mostly courtesy of my 13-yr-old son and the internet, which I don't have on our four lines. We do have unlimited texting though, which helps. Course, that phone bill cut into what little I had for Christmas shopping, so....it's confiscated for now!
600$ !?! Did she ever turn off her phone? Scary!
