I love to shop.
I could shop all day long and never buy a thing, but that's the sport of it, right?
Not to most men.
My ex-husband would always say "I don't know why you are going in there (the store) because you aren't going to buy anything."
Well, I came up with an answer for him.
You go hunting/fishing all day and sometimes you come home empty-handed.
It's the same thing, dear!
Mr. Sweetie and I shopped for a better part of the day on Saturday.
I could not find anything.
Then came his remarks.
"You look and look, but you don't find anything."
Listen up man, if I don't see something I like/want, then what is the point in buying it.
After 5 minutes in Old Navy, he came back with two shirts and a pair of jeans in his hand.
I said, "Aren't you going to try that on?"
He said, "No, I know my size, it will fit."
And it did.
I would have so many clothes that did not look right/fit hanging in my closet, I could open my own clothing store.
So how about you, do you like to shop? Do you come home from an all day shop-fest empty handed? Does your significant other complain about your shopping habits?

I am a huge window shopper! We just don't have money in the budget for big shopping sprees-there is always something the kids need, but I do enjoy window shopping!!!
Shopping is one of my least favorite activities. My husband actually wishes that I liked it more because I put if off so much and then when I really need something I'm stressing out. I should probably be kicked out of the girl's club for admitting this.
I'm a bargain hunter so lots of times I go shopping and end up with nothing. It's all a part of the 'hunt'. :)
I love to shop. Mr. B likes to wander thrift stores... The ex annoyed the CRUD out of me when we shopped.
I am so not a girly girl. I have to say no to shopping. Now if you filled my pockets with money, then it might turn into a different story. But it's never been my case, and therefore I ONLY go shopping if I HAVE to get something, and therefore never leave empty-handed. It's why I shop once a year.
My GF changed me. It's her fault. Now I like to shop, especially for clothes. Called me a clothes hanger she did. Darn her.
When I was thinner I liked to shop...now, it's just depressing.
There's a reason it's called "shopping" and not "buying."
I do love to shop, and it does drive Hubby nuts sometimes. All the more reason for Mommy to have some Mommy alone time!
I have never thought about it like hunting/fishing, I love it!!! My hubby always gives me a hard time he thinks women just wonder around searching for something crap to buy that they dont need. I tell him I am just doing my part to keep the economy going.
I head straight to the clearance. LOVE clearance. And yes, love to shop. Just don't have the time for it like I used to.
