Musical Monday- No shame

Musical Monday

This weeks theme on Musical Monday is "Songs I am embarrassed to admit that I love". Honestly, I can't think of anything I am really ashamed of music-wise. I love lots of different things and my musical taste goes waaay out there, so choosing a song that I am embarrassed of was pure torture. I went through my iTunes library and I decided on this one. Lolli Lolli - Pop That Body. Yep, I love it. Makes me want to get up and well, pop that body! Woooo. My daughters actually got me hooked on it, and some may judge and say that its a bad thing to let them listen to this sort of music, but they are pre-teens, it's a given.

Crank it up and enjoy!!

Remember when Three 6 Mafia won the Oscar (best original song) a few years ago, and they performed on the awards ceremony? It was so awesome to see the reations of all those stuffy, serious industry types...they were like, "Whoa! What's this?"

It's hard out here for a pimp...indeed.

Wooooooooooooo! Thanks for staring my Monday off right, Amy!

Girl it is 8:44 in the morning and you have me jamming! I love them that is just my kind of music. I just want to get up and dance coffee in hand (it to early to have anything else). You brought a smile to my face with that song. Now I'm going to sit here and finish this song. Thanks for sharing!

My girls really like this music too! I'm hit and miss depends on my mood, loving it right now sitting in the library visiting your blog instead of doing homework!

Oh my gosh! I've NEVER heard this song and I'm so not a rap fan (except for Flo Rida's "Get Low" because the beat is fantastic) but I actually like this song!!

Oooh good song for my boring day here at work. lol You can't control every aspect of your daughters life. Mine is grown now with a kid and one on the way. Believe me I tried to keep her away from what I thought was the 'wrong' music and well it just doesn't happen. I am proud of how she turned out and you will be too. Let 'em judge all they want.

That's a good one. I think the only music I would be embarassed about would be Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog. I am sorry, it just makes me smile:-)

Hi Amy~
OK, I admit it...I'm bustin' a move this very moment! LOL!

So glad you stopped by today! Sorry I'm just now getting around to visiting you. Once we got home from our trip, I felt so snowed under (no pun intended!).

LOL Who's judging? Who doesn't want to pop that body? I mean seriously.....it's like those who DON'T dance to Beyonce's "all the single ladies"....or is that just me? I can't help myself.
