Today is Michael Jackson's memorial. I wish I could be home to watch it, but I am doing my duty and I'm blogging from work. Shhhh!

I've been doing something that I said I would not do. But don't we all do that eventually in our lives? Facebook has sucked me in. I have a farm on Farmville, FarmTown and a garden in Fairyland. I even sucked my sweetie into the madness along with some other friends on Facebook. It's fun, you should try it if you have not already. You know you want to.
True Blood (ya know, that show on HBO that everyone is watching or talking about?) has sucked me in. Pun intended... {evil grin} I finished the first season last night courtesy of Netflix. I really like it, but just so you know....none, and I mean NONE of those so-called Louisiana people have the right accent. That was pretty much the only qualm I had with the show....how they choose to portray us. We are not walking around chasing vampires around here, either. Or drinking vampire blood to get drunk. Just give me some grape or strawberry Smirnoff and I am good to go.

I set the dvr to record the MJ stuff. Only thing that sucks about that is I totally forgot about my man Rob being on Ellen today! Grrr.
True Blood Rocks ~ I even got the hubby sucked into it **evil laugh** Better hurry, your are only 3 episodes behind for season 2 ~ The 4th one is this Sunday ~ It tokk a break and it about killed me ~
I'm getting ready to watch the MJ memorial right now.
I just added True Blood season one to my Netflix queue. I'll let you know what I think of it when I finish up with it.

I really didn't like True Blood when I first saw it (Sookie's character really, really bothered me), but it grew on me.

GF has tried but failed to get me sucked into facebook, True Blood, and a number of other things. Yes I have a FB page but only play the free games. Watched TB but I find it boring, much like most stuff GF is watching on HBO. Nothing wrong with any of it but it isn't my cup of tea. And people think I'm crazy cuz I can't stand tea either.
My husband and I were just talking about True Blood! I haven't seen the show, but have read the books it is based on... I should rent the first season.

facebook has Fairyland?!? i need to check that out. I haven't gotten into True BLood yet, but I'm thinking about reading the books. hmmm....

Guess I need to put True Blood on my list! I'm 1/3 way into the second book now too so need to figure out how to watch the second season too.

Yay! Another TB fan. LOVE LOVE LOVE the show. Both my husband and I watch every Sunday night. We have DirectTV so it shows over and over all week. And yeah, it sucks that most shows, when set in La, tries to portray us as backwoods rednecks with this horrendous accent. We are not really like that Y'ALL!! LOL But I think the actor playing Jason is doing a good job on accents considering he has a very strong Australian accent.
