I know!! I heard this today and I was completely shocked!! I did not see that coming but I think she will do a great job:-) I guess she is starting after the auditions:-)
I can't think of anyone better to replace Paula. This is so GREAT! Ellen will bring a breath of fresh air to the panel. No more listening to Paula jabbering on and on, making no sense, looking at her drugged-up, overly made-up face and HUGE rings. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Did you see Ellen when she was a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance? She was PERFECT!! I'm excited to see her on Idol.
I dunno.
Idol sorta burned me out last season. Guess Ellen could only make it better.
I might actually watch just to see what she does .. LOL :)
I may actually watch this season. Or not. But I do dig Ellen a lot.
