Table Topics Tuesday

This week's Table Topics Tuesday's theme is:

What is the best way to spend a rainy day?
Let me start by saying that I am not particularly fond of rain. I mean, who is? I do not like getting out in it and driving in it is a whole new blog post!
Honestly, if it happens on a day when leaving home is not necessary, I like to straighten up my house, play around on the computer, and watch some good 'ole TV. No, nothing really exciting, but just relaxing and listening to it rain, knowing that I have a warm, dry place to stay is calming.
Rain is in the forecast now until tomorrow. Going to work in it is so much fun! Can you just feel the sarcasm??

So what do you like to do when it's raining??

Oh, I hate driving in the rain, too! I try not to get out in it unless absolutely necessary. Like you said, I'd rather be indoors where it's warm & dry!

If I don't have anything pressing to take care of, I just stay at home and piddle around the house. If times allows, I might even take a little nap...getting up at 5:45 AM every morning takes it's toll!

I stay home too!

I love the smell of a summer afternoon thunderstorm.

I like to curl up in a blanket and watch tv with the kiddos!

I'm going to sound crazy but I like to run errands on rainy days because every one is at home! Less crowded stores :-)

If i had a rainy day to do what i wanted? I would sleep in, then read for a bit, eat some breakfast, perhaps blog, then create something... whether it be cooking, art, writing, anything, then i'm sure another nap :) only to finish the day watching a movie snuggled up!

:) Make today great!

*And dont forget to enter in my necklace giveaway!*

"Straighten up the house"??? Not even a rainy day makes me feel inspired to do that! Housework at my place is a strictly only-when-I-really-need-to basis.

Come up here and drive in the snow for a bit and you'll think driving in the rain is a piece of cake! LOL
