*Burp*

I never gave much thought to my health. As long as I felt fine, then I saw no reason to be concerned. Most people live that way, I guess. However, it's important to pay close attention to what your body is telling you sometimes.

Lately, it seems, several people in this community have died at a very early age. Very early age, meaning close to my age. That makes me quite uncomfortable. And a little, well a lot, worried!

It has been well over six months since I have had my gallbladder removed, and after that was done, I felt much better. Until about a month ago. I went back to the doctor with complaints of constant burping/indigestion. Same thing that my stone-filled gallbladder was doing to me. He gave me some medicine and sent me on my way. It is not working. In fact, it seems as though it has gotten much worse and I am at my wits end.

Last week I had an appointment, and because I absolutely despise going to the doctor, and because I felt fine that day, and because I am totally nuts, I cancelled! How dumb, right? I called yesterday to reschedule and now I can not get in until next week. Serves me right, I guess.

So anyway, I am hoping and praying that it is nothing serious. The doctor did say that if it did not work, he'd have to go back in with a scope (down my throat) and see what's up. Since it was not so bad the last time, and because I am desperate to end this misery, I guess I have no choice.

It is the wait that is bugging me now.

It seems that no matter what, there is a time of year that always blinks back our mortality, keeps us aware. I've had that several times lately myself. I hope that you are JUST FINE and that you get a simple solution to a simple problem.

I had to get my gall bladder removed this summer too! High five for that!

Hope everything turns out ok. No more canceling Dr. appointments ok?!
