IT is Friday again and I could not be happier. So that means it is time to sit down with you all and make some confessions. I have quite a few this week, so let's get started:
I confess...that I have been quite the lazy blogger this week. Between work and the girls and home stuff and not to mention, 'that time of the month'...I just did not feel up to doing much online, so I sat on the couch and vegged out.
I confess... that I believe I am in too deep right now. Like too many irons in the fire, deep. How could I try to do so many things at once and think that I was ever going to keep up? Must have been a good week that week!
I confess... that I scored tickets (free ones, at that!) to see Whitesnake in May! Can I get a 'hell yeah!' ?? Oh yeah! I love me some 80's hair bands and they ranked right up there with Ratt and Poison back in the day. So anyhow I got them for free because I have connections, baby! I will not be rocking any big hair that night though. That's a negative!
I confess... that I heard an old song today on the drive home from work and it brought be back to the days when I was young and hung out at the bars...yes, I did! And I danced with guys and let them buy me alcohol and noooo, I was not a slut. I was just a good flirt. And I had long legs and a flat stomach, so there.
I confess... that I really am NOT enjoying American Idol much this year. I miss Simon and I just can not get over the fact that he is really gone and it makes me sad. Not to mention, most of these people suck ( in my own honest opinion) and there is nobody there to tell them that they suck!
I confess... that I DO like James Durbin, though. He is the only one who is getting
I confess... that today I am mailing my swap partner, Alison, her package and I want to keep it! Shhhh! I know, that is so wrong of me, but dang, it's some of MY favorite things, and it's sooo hard to let go! I really hope she loves what I am sending her... I sure do!

I feel exactly like you about Idol...no one is knocking my sock's off this season. I do love Scotty's deep country voice, though. You are one lucky girl to have won tickets to Whitesnake!!!

Hey you can still rock an 80s look. And with new clothes too. It amazes me that so many styles from when I was in high school are back in the stores. I've even seen acid washed jeans. Have fun at the concert.
Whitesnake? Ohhhh would my husband be jealous. I am forever tormenting him about his love of what I sooooo loving call 'butt rock'. He does not find this in the least amusing ;) The man actually paid to see Cinderella in concert last year. Paid...actual money.

Oh man! 80s hairbands are my fave!! I used to L.O.V.E all those crazy guys. I so thought I was going to marry axel rose! In fact, I was certain that the November Rain video was going to be the building block for my wedding planner. LOL
And, I cannot agree more on AI. Where is SIMON??? I could always count on him to say what I was thinking. Sniffle...

I agree with you about American Idol, I decided not to watch it because Simon being gone. He was the main reason I watched it.
