So many things happening lately. One thing at a time...
My ex husband had his heart surgery last week and everything went fine. Well once he had one minor setback, that is.
The surgery was on Tuesday morning and by noon they were finished and everything had gone well. However, the next morning at 3 am my phone woke me out of a hard sleep. It was his mom letting me know that he had some sort of internal bleeding and they had called the surgical team back in. He was going back in to surgery. I was sick!
At 6 am that same morning he was out of surgery and was again doing just fine.
As the hours went by he continued to progress and we were able to get updates regularly. I told my youngest daughter that I just may have to sedate her along with her dad because she was a basket case!
Finally on the Friday he was well enough for me to take them to visit, although he was still in ICU.
Saturday we went back again and he was in his own private room and was getting up and around. Walking, talking, eating and showering.
Monday he came home and they picked up the girls on the way back and they have been staying there to help him out.
Thanks for all of the prayers, they were much needed and greatly appreciated. And they worked!
