My Girls

I have mentioned my two daughters on my blog only in little comments here and there. I have never formally introduced them to the blog world. That will change today.

For many many weeks, I have contemplated how and when I would blog about them....whether or not to use their real names or fake names....if I'd put up their pics or not.

My decision is that I will use their real names. Many of the several blogs I read have their child's names and pictures on them and so that is what I am going to do. Some have nicknames, use an alias, or the first letter of each child. To each his own. All is good.

So now without, further ado, I give you my two girls:

This is my oldest daughter, Chelsea. She is 11 years old and in the 6th grade. She loves The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, and Spongebob. Chelsea hates school and doesn't like to do homework, but she's making it in Jr. High. From day one, she has always been a very soft-hearted, fragile spirit who craves to be friends with everyone she meets. Talking on the phone, listening to music, and spending time outside or with friends are also things that she enjoys.

This is my baby girl, Alyssa. She is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. She also loves The Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, and Spongebob. Alyssa loves school and doing homework (completely opposite of her big sister) She has a short temper and is very aggressive and passionate about everything and anything that she believes in. Sometimes she will show you her softer side, but refuses to admit that her heart is broken. She's a real tough spirit! She loves to dress up, play school or office, and play outside.

For the most part, my girls enjoy most of the same things in life, however they are very different in personality. I love that about them. I love them with all of my heart and then some. They are my rock and what keep me going. They have been the reason I have made it through some of the toughest parts of my life. Everything I do, I do for them!
