So many things happen that make us ask "Why?"
Most of the time there is no answer.
We just have to accept things the way they happen and move on.
A good friend of mine lost her husband to a heart attack last Friday.
So shocking and so unexpected. He was only 46.
I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason but trying to figure out this reason is beyond anyone's ability.
Life (and death) is such a mysterious thing and I guess we will have to just continue to wonder about them both.
I am very sad for my friend. We have known each other all of our lives. I hope and pray that she finds comfort in her time of sorrow and strength to carry on for her little girl.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend's husband, especially at this time of year. Things like that are hard to understand...only God knows the reason.

oh I am so sorry to hear about your friend's loss. 46 is so very young.
I am so sorry for your friend, what an awful shock. It is never a good time to lose anyone you love so much, but right before Christmas is even more heartbreaking. I hope that she lets you comfort her over this very sad time.
I believe that everything happens for a reason as well. It's the only thing that gets me through sometimes. So sorry for your friend.

I questioned God many times in my life but have come to find that I find more peace when I just trust him.
I am obviously very slow at getting to this post, but my condolences go to you and your friend. It's so hard to watch someone you love suffer and know that there is nothing you can do to help. :( Except hug. I hope you're taking time for yourself as well...sounds like your plate has been full.
I hope that 2010 has started off with a few smiles in your direction.

Oh, I'm so sorry for your friend.
I ask "why?" a lot. I hope God doesn't get mad at me because of it.
