Mother's Day weekend was really nice. Me and my girls spent the weekend doing fun stuff. Like spending way too much money!
Saturday we went shopping and got them some summer clothes and a few shirts for me. We had a great lunch and shopped some more before heading to the movies to see PROM. It was a nice rated G movie and I was happy about that, with all of the ugliness out there these days in the movies, I was impressed.
Afterwards we headed to the furniture store to see about a living room set I have had my eye on for weeks. I actually almost bought it the first time I saw it and something told me not to. This time, I could not hold back. It is being delivered this week!
Sunday, my dad and his wife cooked for us (barbecued steaks!) and we visited and took a few photos!
Later in the day, we headed to the graveyard to put some flowers for my mom and we also visited some other relatives' graves. It was a sad but peaceful afternoon. When we left there we visited a local park and enjoyed some sunshine and some more visiting with friends.
One thing that I learned from the whole weekend is that even though I sometimes wish I 'had it all' and think that I do not, I honestly do. My girls are my life and without them I would not have anything. They mean the world to me and I could not ask for a greater love than that!

You sure have some pretty daughters, Amy...look an awful lot like their mama! Your Mother's Day sounds like it couldn't have been more perfect!
Hello Amy! I also shopping with my mom and my female friends. Shopping is best experienced with the members of the female populace!
I'm sure your princesses also see their the world on you. Wishing you more happiness!
Sounds like you had a great weekend:-)
Beautiful pic of you and the girls! Glad you had such a nice day! We won't talk about mine.
Thank you for that Amy....
At the beginning of your post I was thinking Shopping is the best and it cures all!
At the end I was brought back to reality that our children and family are those things that really matter in life! :)
Glad you had a great mothers day!
What a great picture of you & your girls. Good for you for splurging a little, I am quite sure you deserve it! Happy Mother's Day (sorry I am late)
