Toilet paper. It's a girl thing. Really.
My daughter's have complained to me a few times in the last couple of weeks after visiting their dad, that he has been getting on them about how much toilet paper they use.
Personally, I buy one of these, just about every week:
Men are not so inclined to use toilet paper as much as us women. It's a given.I told him, get over it, they are girls, they will use lots of it, deal with it.
We need lots of it.
Let's face it, we don't wanna get our hands dirty, for cryin' out loud!

Personally ~ I hate running out of toilet paper ~ I have 2 1/2 bathrooms therefore need at least, a 4 pack in each ~ I will buy a 24 pack when on sale at Bi-Mart or anywhere else ~ Like you, every 2 weeks whether we need it or not ~ The hubby will (usually without looking or asking) buy a 12 pack when he goes the store ~ If he happens to think about it ~ Which is generally every other week ~ I am stocked ~ I don't think we go through a 12 pack ~ Since I'm the only woman in the house !!!

See I am just teaching the girls how to wipe theirselves properly and I would MUCH rather them use more than not enough and have you know what all over their hands!! lol
We buy a lot of toilet paper around here, and it kinda stinks to have to purchase it all the time but much better than dirty hands if you ask me ;)
Since I live in a house of all boys, toliet paper tends to last a tad bit longer, but I alsways stock up, and I can't stand the thin TP... I mean what's the point when it is super thin, lol
For some strange reason my husband uses the most in our house... but we recently switched from Angel Soft to Quilted Northern and I have noticed that there is a lot less "lint" floating around the bathroom now...
a lot - a roll every 2-3 days? and i'm the only female in my house. bad!
Now that my 3 year old son is potty trained, it sure seems like we're going through a lot!
My issue is with what kind. I used to be a big fan of the Scott Tissue mega roll (1000 sheets, but really thin paper) but now I like their "Extra soft" roll. But we go through them a lot faster.
We buy ours in bulk! Men don't understand the issues associated with being a girl! I mean, shaking it just wouldn't cut it for me! LOL
hubby used to complain too. then he realized that there were three of us and one of him. And we have girl issues that necessitate the need for using more... if you know what I mean. We go through a roll every couple of days.
I don't go through as much toilet paper since we started using flushable wipes a couple years ago. Let's face it, more tp is used for poop and, gross as it sounds, it can get messy! Wipes do a much better job and make you feel oh so much cleaner!
We go through a lot of wipes with five people in the house. Every time I go to target I pretty much buy what they have in stock (the Target brand is the cheapest and works just as well as any name brand).
My ex-dh uses it like it's FREE... CONSTANTLY stopping up the toilet.. and now Essie does the same thing, drives me NUTS!!!!!!
This made me laugh. When I lived at home, my brother used to tell me all the time that I used too much toliet paper (I have no idea why he even noticed). My friend and I had this conversation a few months ago and her husband gets after her about how much she uses. My husband doesn't say anything cuz he uses a lot too.
Actually, I have a phobia about running out of toilet paper. So I grab a 4 pack of Scott (one of those rolls is like 10) every time I see it. I mean it, every time I'm in a store I grab it.
There are 7 of us, 3 girls and 4 boys. Enough said!

I personally go through a LOT of toilet paper, especially you know, at that time of the month! I usually buy the 12 pks of Scott tissue with 1000 sheets per roll. They seem to last a little longer.
This is a pretty fun battle ground for the battle of the sexes.
We woman definitely need a lot more.

I am the only female in my house of 3 boys and a hubby! We go through ALOT of toilet paper, and it's not my fault. My boys use WAY too much...the toilet in their bathroom gets clogged at least a couple of times a week.
I buy the large "Cottonelle" every time I go to the grocery store.

Ha! So true. I use WAY more than I should, I'm sure. My boys, though, don't use enough (if you ask me). Not sure about Hubby - some things are best kept secret. :)

I use lots of toilet paper here too!! I buy a jumbo 24 pack at least 1-2 times a month.

my hubby doesn't understand how we go through so much tp, either. it's just me and him! baby isn't old enough for it yet. we buy a 12 pack every other week, i think. drives him nuts, with how much we spend on it. but you're right, it's necessary!

Well, in all honesty, I think my boys use way more than the Ice Princess and I do. We usually buy it at Sams so I have no clue how much we use!
Who would complain about toilet paper usage??? it's a necessity!!!
We (house of 2) go through a 12 roll pack about every 2 weeks...

I live with all boys, so we don't use all that much. I buy Scot Tissue and it seems to last forever!
Men don't buy it, and they NEVER put it on the roll. I buy it from Costco so I get something like 48 rolls.

I think you're right about it being a girl thing. I use waaaay more than my share...and I always buy the expensive stuff...because dammit I want something nice and cooshie down there!
