About This Thing Called Blogging

This month marks two whole years that I have been blogging. *Pay no mind to my blogoversary button because I think it is fried*

Anyway, I have thoroughly enjoyed this thing called blogging. Not only do I enjoy writing, but I love getting to know other women around the world by reading their blogs also.

I subscribe to quite a few blogs through Google Reader, and to say that there a wide variety of the types of blogs I read, is an understatement.

From cooking blogs to photography related blogs to the stay at home "mommy blogs", I enjoy them all.

One thing that I have realized is that most of these writers give you some really personal accounts of their lives and do not always share the bare minimum when it comes to talking about themselves. I think those are the ones I enjoy the most!

That being said, I do believe that I am going to start sharing more of ME with YOU. More topics about what is going on in my life....the good, the bad, and sometimes the ugly.

Why, you ask? Because although my blog has always been basically about me, I have held back and resisted sharing what I am going through on a more personal level. Major things that have happened and that are going to happen. Funny things and not so funny things.

With the start of spring begins an all new fresh beginning of me. A time to share, vent, communicate and be that writer that I always wanted to be.

I am looking forward to being more open and honest and having readers that I can interact with and share my thoughts with. Thanks for being here for me and for your feedback. It means the world to me.

That is so awesome!! It's not easy being transparent, and I think every blogger wonders how far is too far, but as a reader, it's always great to know the real you better!! :)

Amy girl, I have to say that of all the blogs you have written that I have read thus far, this particular blog is the one that made me smile the most! Why you ask? Because above all else, I value "HONESTY". And the rarest form of that is being true to oneself and putting your true self out there for the world to see! Bravo, Kudos and Hugs to you for braving the blogsphere and riding the waves of honesty...
