Books and Games

As I read different blogs (and I read lots of them!) I have found that many of you out there love to read books and so do I. When I have time. Which lately is never. *sob sob* !

So I wanted to share what I find to be some really awesome books by an author that has talent beyond any other. Karen Kingsbury writes what her website describes as Life-changing fiction.

Never before has an author written a book that has moved me to tears like the stories Ms. Kingsbury creates. I highly recommend not any one particular book, but every darn one of them. You can find out about all of the here at her website.

I recently played the whole darn game "James Patterson, Women's Murder Club, Death In Scarlett". Online. For free. At work. This game can be found at various different sites for one hour of free download. Once your hour is up, you can move on to another site and download it and pick up where you left off. I played it all the way through to the end. Not all in one day, mind you, but still. It was fun. I was hooked until the very end. So, if you like computer games, this is one you are sure to love.

If you have read any of the above mentioned books or played this fun fun game, give me a holla and tell me your thoughts! :D

I just jumped over from your comment on Blogstalker about not commenting because you feel like you're not in the "crowd". I sometimes feel that way, too. Kind of like the new kid in school! Weird, isn't it?

Anyway, I'm not much of a reader - I used to be but I just can't find the time unless I'm reading with my kids and that means the likes of The Wimpy Kid!

I haven't read those books, but I have seen them and thought about it. It's worth checking out because right now everything else I pick up is crap. (except for the Twilight series..but so far Book one is the BEST! and I'm looking forward to the movie.) I'm going to check out that James Patterson game this week!)

Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't read any of her stuff. But then again I don't read nearly as much as I'd like.

I've read the first two in the Redemption series, and just finished reading her novel, Divine. It's awesome, and even better that I found it at the thrift store!

I love to read, especially southern women's fiction, and I've read all of Mary Kay Andrews and Dorothea Benton Frank...two wonderfully funny, believable authors. I come across book lists on different blogs, and have started my own paper list that I keep in my purse for those runs to the library or Half-Price Books (or thrift stores!)

James Patterson's "Sundays at Tiffanys" is awesome, as well, although it's the only one of his that I've read.
