As I stated in my last post, I am back and we fared well with Hurricane Gustav. Thank God!
I would again like to thank everyone who left comments, emailed, prayed, thought of us, or sent well wishes. I truly and deeply appreciate that.
The reason I have not blogged in so many days is because my home internet had been out. Misery is the only word I can use to describe the feelings I had all weekend with no access to the blogosphere. But baby, I am BACK UP! I am so thrilled and was really looking forward to getting everything back to normal. I say 'was', because it looks like their is another storm headed this way. HOWEVER, I am not worrying about that right now and I don't want to focus on that at this time.
What I DO want to focus on is telling you all that I WILL be back to commenting and reading very soon. You would not believe how far behind I am on reading. I had over 300 posts in my reader today. I had to delete quite a few without even reading. However, if I usually comment on your blog, I have not gotten around to visiting you yet. I saved all of those until a later time, and plan on reading and commenting very soon.
I am really liking my new job, and I plan to blog about it soon, when I get some good computer time..... :)

Giiiiiirl, I know what you're saying. Well, no, I don't. Slidell got the electricity back up a day after the storm hit. But, I almost died during that 24 hours.
I watched the weather channel and went to the Naval Weather thing online, it looks like Ike is headed towards Texas/Mexico. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
So glad you are back. You've been missed. Sometimes you just have to mark all blogs read and start from scratch. That's a lot of post to try to wade through!

Great that you successfully dodged Gustav and that Ike won't make a visit your way, either. I feel bad, though, for the folks on Texas' Gulf Coast!
