Happy Mardi Gras!
That would be Fat Tuesday to all of you Non-Louisianians.
Honestly, I am not really a Mardi Gras person, although I was born and raised here.
This day also marks the beginning of Lent, for all of you Non-Catholics.
I won't be out celebrating this Louisiana holiday but I sure will be relishing my day off from work!

It's so weird to me, the whole Mardi Gras thing. I don't think I'll ever get used to it. But hey, a day off for a religion I don't even follow? Yes please!

I totally forgot today was Mardi Gras!!! Not that it's a big deal for me, because it's not, I just can't believe I forgot. Does that make any sense?? Off to make some more tea, lol!

We are all off here today too!! Happy Mardi Gras!! Katie is off Mon-Wed this week from college.
Any day off is a good one! I think the costumes are cool...and I love New Orleans and the French quarter...but I would hate to visit it during this time of year.
