This year may be different. Because the first three of the final top 12 that were chosen tonight, are actually the three that I chose. Woohoo!
First up, we have Alexis Grace. She was awesome in her performance. I liked everything about her. The judges compared her to Kelly Clarkson. Way to go!
Next up we have the oilfield worker, Michael Sarver. He was good, but not great. However, he is one of my favorites from the beginning. Not to mention that he looks just like my OB/GYN. Ahem.
Then we have a Robert Downey Jr. look-a-like. Awesome awesome singer! He is there in memory of his wife who died, and I thought his story was very touching. I hope he goes far.
It will be great to see how this season ends because it has already started out on a good note.

I've actually never watched a full season of American Idol. I watch a few shows here and there but never enough to have favorites.
I love Danny and I do think that Alexis is the best girl of that group, but I was really sad to see Anoop and Ricky not go through. They are so talented and these new elimination rules just don't seem fair.
Danny is my fave so far. He's sort of a hometown (area) boy,too. I liked Michael's performance too. (Great minds think a like!)

I voted 5 times for Michael and 5 times for Danny. Danny was the best.. Michael wasn't that great but he's sweet so I voted. I thought everyone (except Danny) pretty much stunk it up.
I will be tuning in at the big stage stuff...it's too hard to watch two hours right now...the big boys are always up at that time being loud and stuff. D@mn kids.
I don't care for Michael too much, but I love me some Danny!
