Because Blogger chooses NOT to allow me to copy and paste a draft I have of a different post then this one and continues to piss me off, I will leave you with this.
My eldest child begged me for 2 years to buy her a Nintendo DS.
That is all I heard.
She received one for Christmas.
Today she took it across the street with her to the neighbors house.
Needing a place to lay it down while she ran off, she placed it on the rear end of said neighbors truck.
Aforementioned neighbor left while my child was off skipping around the neighborhood.
Along for the ride went her Nintendo DS.
It did not return alive.
The game is broken. And so is her heart.

Don't you just hate that ~ We are constantly reminding Hayden to take care and be aware of his things ~ His expensive things that we pay for ~ If we find them in imminent peril WE get to keep it !!
I am so sorry for her loss ~ And yours
Poor little girl. What do you do? Get her another one?
Sorry. A good lesson in responsibility. My son is the same way... just leaving his stuff all over the place. Ask me where his MANY Thomas trains are......outside in his little dirt pile. The wooden ones....which are on the average $15 each....and of which he probably has 100 of....and will I be buying anymore....NO!
That is a tough lesson to learn.
Have a great Thursday.
Oh, no...what a bummer! Abby has come very close to doing the same thing a time or two. Maybe she can earn the money to buy another one down the road?
So sad...
My oldest left hers on a Canadian ferry once. Someone found it and turned it in, but she lost it again the next week. Since then she's lost a cell phone (not replaced) and a camera (not replaced) but not her ipod. They can be so scatter brained, huh!
Oh my... I feel so bad for her... but at the same time... I suppose it's one of those "life lesson" things.
Bummer....a no fault accident like that sucks.
Ouch!! I usually don't let my kiddos take things like that out to play cuz that's what they are going to do...play not play on something they can play safely in the house with! Poor kiddo and poor YOU!
Cole did the same thing asked and asked I found one thankfully on Craigslist for $40! I was amazed worked and everything. But man has it taken a beating. then one day I got the brillant idea to clean it since it was all sticky. Well now the bottom screen won't let you push on it ... UGH! That bad is all on mom :)
Oh, no - TRAGIC!!
Oh the poor thing! I guess that was a painful lesson for her:-(
wow. we have had 5 kids and now 5 grandkids. i could tell ya stories. it's too bad ... but life will go on. still hurts.

I've had that same problem with Blogger. I've realized you can't copy in the Compose Tab, but you can copy from the HTML Tab. Try it next time.
I was just going to say what Christina said!!
After blogging for years and learning how to code myself ... I rarely even use the compose tab anymore. All it actually does is "write code for you", and not often in the fashion / style you want.
You can create a new post "copy" of anything, even from someone else's blog. Depending on your browser, you find "view source" code and there is the HTML all visable. Great for memes and awards posts.
There is a very good lesson in all of this: Daughter left the DS to play...OUTDOORS. It goes to show her that outdoor, healthy play is so much more entertaining than the DS she left on the truck. :) Good luck getting that across to her! Happy Friday.
Bummer, that sucks but I don't know who it sucked more for. You or her?
I feel sorry for her -- poor thing. To want something so bad and then it get broke. If she gets another one she will be more careful.
Oh, poor thing! Those first lessons about responsibility are so painful! When I was in about 3rd or 4th grade, my dad went on a business trip by plane (a very rare occurrence) and be brought me back this little poseable figurine thing. I took it to a basketball game and lost it. My mom told me not to take it, but I just loved it so. I was devastated. It's such a hard lesson to learn.
oh poor thing! i bet that did break her heart. poor you for loosing an expensive toy that you payed for!
I'm just getting around to catching up with everyone. I wanted to say thanks so much for your sweet words about my uncle. It meant a lot to me!
