In my lifetime I have loved country music, I've hated it and at some point, I was on the fence with it. My first love in music is Rock -n- Roll. No doubt about it!
However, I enjoy many different genres and country is now one that is included in that list, but only to a few limited artists.
One of my favorites is Keith Urban. I became a fan of his about two years ago and I can not get enough. His newest CD, "Defying Gravity" is awesome, to say the least!
One of the songs included on this CD is called "Sweet Thing" and that is 'what moves me' this week! Enjoy!

My parents are huge country fans so I understand about the love/hate relationship.
Interesting that you said you have loved country music at a certain point and hated it at another. Same thing with me. Wonder why that is?
I used to listen to country exclusively but now I listen to just about everything. There's so many artists popping up though I have no idea who anyone is anymore!

We love Keith. When Libbey was 4 she announced, "Keith is my boyfriend." So we took her to see him in concert when she was 5 1/2. She could not understand why all the women in attendance (about 90% of the 25,000 there) were screaming and going crazy for him. Libbey was likem "Uh--don't they know he's MY boyfriend nad Macole's husband?"

I wouldn't call myself a HUGE country music fan, but I do enjoy it. Keith Urban is a favorite of mine...love this song! Thanks for sharing it today!

I have to tell you, my computer at work doesn't let me see everything so I have to highlight it to be able to read. I saw "Defying Gravity" and thought you were talking about WICKED the musical...LOL. I love Keith but don't listen to much country lately. I do have this song on my ipod. Did you every get that CD I sent you!??
Hadn't heard that song. I really liked it. I think Keith Urban is very talented. I do have a LOT of country singers that I like and listen to. I like it as much as I like Rock n Roll.
