Ever since I was a young girl I have loved hard rock music and the guys in the band. The big hair bands of the 80's with their eye liner and black clothes. The sultry stares and pouty lips as they flirted with the camera in their videos.
So it's no wonder that this year's American Idol contender, Adam Lambert, is the one I am voting for! To me he has the whole package....the voice, the charisma, the charm, the ability to entertain and woo the audience. So this weeks Musical Monday song is one of my faves that he did. Black and White by Michael Jackson.
And do me a favor, please. If you do not like Adam, then kindly do not comment here slamming him. Thanks!
I do agree that Adam is very talented, BUT, with me being an Arkansas native, I have to go with Kris Allen. He just seems like an all-around nice guy and he's really talented, too! I do expect Adam to win, though!
LOL Do NOT slam Adam.....got it. He's the best vocally, he should win. But can you please explain the boys who wear girly pants? I just can't get with it....I don't understand how that can be comfy for their...you know....stuff. LOL
They are both so talented and I think either could be successful...but there's something about Adam. Maybe it's the confident swagger, the way he looks into the camera with those dreamy eyes, the intensity when he's lit from below... Lovin' me some Adam and can't wait to see what he pulls out tomorrow night!
This is the first season I ever got sucked into American Idol, but once I did, I never looked back! Although I was sorely disappointed when Danny got voted off, I was really torn between Adam and him. I have nothing against Kris, but Adam is clearly a rock STAR. I hope he wins!
I am totally with you on this. I'm a huge Adam fan. Although I think Kris seems like a really nice guy and he's talented. There is no comparison. I think that Adam is by far the most talented contestant they've ever had on AI...he is the whole package...and has such amazing stage presence. I can see him touring and doing a David Bowie or Alice Cooper type show and blowing the audience away. The kid really has it all! I sure hope he wins...but even if he doesn't...he is going to be VERY successful. If he is ever in a Broadway play...I'm totally going to see him...I can only imagine how great he'd be on stage.
He's an amazing performer and singer. I think Kris has more musical talent - plays multiple instruments, arranges his own stuff.
My issue is that AI has been shoving Adam down our throats with his placement each week and the production of his numbers. That's bothered me a little.
I think they both seem like very genuinely nice people. And I understand their families have become very close.

Adam, although he didn't win, will be JUST FINE in the music industry...just like Daughtry. Is that how it's spelled? For some reason I can't get past the boys wearing tight girly pants, but you can't deny his talent and his voice. He's got IT.
