Friday evening I went over to my friend's house to meet up with her, as we were going to a Premier Jewelry show that one of my other friends was holding.
So we are talking and I tell her. Gosh, I need to quit eating, I am starting to get sorta plump around the middle here, pointing to my waistline. So she says Oh girl, me too, do you know what the teenagers call that? Well, me being very naive to teenage slang and all, I said no. She said, They call that MUFFIN TOP :
I had to laugh!Now, granted, I don't even begin to look as seriously muffin-y as this picture, it is just to show you what I am talking about.
But seriously! Muffin top?? I find that hysterical.
So now I am going to have to quit eating so I can lose my soon to be top of a muffin tummy :)

Muffin top is when your love handles don't fit inside your pants waistband. Hence, from the front, your hips are sort of spilling out of the top. I get a muffin top with some pants. : (
oh thats funny, I thought 'muffin top' was when your boobs overflow your bra..haha
I can't believe you have only just heard of that! I work with someone who is not skinny (but thinks she is) and squeezes into jeans that are 3 sizes too small for her and she has a fabulous muffin top and is oblivious to it.

LOL! I've heard that before! That happens sometimes when I wear certain jeans. That's why I like loose fitting tops. Though, I got people asking of I was preggers with one top I wore! Now I'm afraid to wear it again!

Some radio station here made a little song up, to the tune of ROCKY TOP called Muffin Top, lol
I have heard that term before, and I think it's a very creative one. lol
